How to make a reservation?
After you have found accommodation you should contact owner. All you have to do is to choose way of contact that you prefer; by telephone, mobile phone, fax or e-mail.
Our recommendation is to use e-mail. It is much easier way for you to make a request instead of using telephone. Nevertheless if you dont find e-mail address you should check other options from the list of contacts and send a fax or still make a telephone call. If you do that be cautious when dialing numbers because of call number of Croatia and city.
Is it enough to make a contact with owner or should I be prepared to pay in advance?
It depends from the owner; he might ask you to pay in advance 10 or 20% of total price as a confirmation that you are coming. In that case be sure to retain all information he gives you concerning bank account and other details. However, some of them will consider your request for accommodation as a confirmation of arrival. Seems as a credulous act but you have to know that most people in Croatia still take a credit on other people's word.
Should I make a reservation few weeks before or is it enough to make a request few days before arrival?
It depends in what time of the year you want to come, also in what part of Croatia. As you probably know high season of Croatian tourism is in July and August (among the Coast) although June and September are also good booked. Our recommendation is to book one month earlier.
If you want to visit Croatian beautiful Plitvice lakes, be prepare to book couple months earlier because of great interest of tourists during the whole year.
What if the owner of accommodation does not respond on my request?
There can be several reasons causing this situation, most likely is that contact person did not check his mailbox.
You can contact MC via e-mail (just forward your e-mail request to us) so that we can contact
owner. Of course, will' do it for you free of charge because we are not travel agency.
